Set the ratio between 1.0 and 2.5, I like to use a fast attack and release, but mess around with those. Change the mapping formula to Inverted and click Accept. Right click the threshold knob and link to controller, Peak Controller - Peak. Then, on the sounds you want sidechained, load up a fruity compressor.
Don't need to adjust any of the other knobs. Then load up a peak controller on that channel and set the tension knob to about 40 (preference). I double my kick to make a dummy kick, send that to a free mixer track and turn the volume to master knob all the way down so there is no sound going to the master.
